Persistent selling pressure pushed the market to a negative close last week. The full year financial scorecards released in the week were unable to induce positive investor sentiment. On the back of the significant share price decline witnessed across sectors in the previous week, we expect investors to key into stocks currently trading at attractive prices. We therefore expect the buying pressure to outweigh the likely continued selloffs on some tickers in the week. In sum, we expect the market to close the week positive.
